1. Scope and Legal Basis
These Terms and Conditions of Shipping are formulated in accordance with the EU Consumer Rights Directive, the Convention on the International Carriage of Goods (CMR Convention), and EU cross-border logistics safety standards. They apply to the shipping of all children's clothing products ordered through our website (growfortis.com) within the European Economic Area (EEA). They specifically address the packaging, delivery time, and safety of children's clothing for children under 14 years of age, strictly adhering to the EN 13427:2022 packaging material safety standard.
2. Shipping and Shipping Time
2.1 Shipping Time
Regular Orders: From the date of order confirmation and full payment, we will prepare and ship within 5-7 business days (weekends and EU statutory holidays, such as Christmas and New Year's Day, are not counted as business days).
Shipping Notification: After the product is shipped, we will send the tracking number and tracking link to the email address specified in the order. You can track the shipping status by logging into the "My Orders" section of growfortis.com or through our logistics partner's platform.
2.2 Shipping Time
Regular Regions: For EU core member states (such as Germany, France, Italy, and Spain), shipping time is 20-30 calendar days from the date of shipment.
Remote Regions: For EU peripheral member states and overseas territories (such as northern Finland, the Greek islands, and Malta), shipping time is 30-40 calendar days from the date of shipment. (A list of remote regions is available on the "Logistics" page at growfortis.com.)
Time Notice: Shipping times are estimates only. Delays may occur due to force majeure factors such as customs inspections, weather, and holidays. We will strive to coordinate with the logistics company to shorten delays and will promptly notify you of the reason for the delay and the estimated delivery time via email.
3. Shipping Methods and Partners
3.1 Shipping Methods
Based on the characteristics of children's clothing products (such as size, material, order quantity) and the delivery region, we prioritize the following compliant shipping methods:
Small orders (one or two sets of children's clothing): We utilize international express delivery lines (such as DHL EU and DPD International) for door-to-door delivery.
Large orders (three or more sets of children's clothing, or including large items such as children's down jackets and coats): We utilize EU cross-border logistics lines (such as DB Schenker EU and TNT Express) to ensure safe transportation through a three-tiered delivery model: warehouse - regional sorting center - local distribution point.
3.2 Logistics Partners
We only partner with logistics providers that meet EU logistics safety standards and are certified to transport children's products. All partners have signed the EU Logistics Service Agreement, committing to adhere to the timeliness and safety requirements stipulated in this agreement. A list of our major logistics partners can be found on the "About Us - Logistics Partners" page on growfortis.com. 4. Transport Packaging and Safety Assurance
4.1 Packaging Standards
Due to the unique characteristics of children's clothing, we use environmentally friendly packaging materials that comply with EN 13427:2022:
Inner Packaging: Use odorless, biodegradable cotton or paper bags. Avoid sharp packaging attachments (such as metal buckles) to prevent scratches or damage to children.
Outer Packaging: Use thickened corrugated cardboard boxes marked with warning signs such as "Children's Products," "Handle with Care," and "Moisture-Proof." Fill the boxes with environmentally friendly cushioning materials (such as paper filling and corn starch foam) to protect children's clothing from being squeezed, damp, or contaminated during transportation.
Special Packaging: Thick winter children's clothing (such as children's padded jackets and coats) will be wrapped with additional waterproof film. Thin summer clothing (such as short-sleeved shirts and shorts) will be marked with "Sun Protection" to prevent deterioration due to temperature fluctuations during transportation.
4.2 Safety Verification
Before shipment, we conduct a double check of each shipment of children's clothing:
Product Verification: Verify that the hangtag, size label, and washing instructions are intact and free of defects (such as unraveling threads or stains).
Packaging Verification: Verify that the packaging is secure and meets EU safety requirements for children's product packaging to prevent unqualified packaging from entering the shipping process.
5. Shipping Costs and Payment
5.1 Cost Calculation
Shipping costs are automatically calculated based on the order amount, weight, and shipping destination. Specific costs can be viewed during checkout.
5.2 Payment
Shipping costs must be paid together with the purchase price. We accept credit cards (Visa, Mastercard), PayPal, and local EU payment methods (such as SEPA transfers and Klarna). Shipping costs will be separately listed on the order invoice after payment. There are no hidden charges.
6. Shipping Responsibility and Transfer of Risk
6.1 Division of Liability
Pre-Shipping: We assume the risk of damage or loss of goods while in our warehouse and during shipment (before pickup by the carrier). We will provide a free replacement or full refund.
During Shipping: The risk of goods from the time they are picked up by the carrier until they arrive at the delivery address is borne by the carrier. If goods are damaged or lost, we will assist you in claiming compensation from the carrier. The compensation rate will be determined in accordance with the carrier's agreement.
After Receipt: The shipping risk transfers to you after you or your designated agent signs for the goods. Please be sure to inspect the packaging before signing for them. If you find any damaged packaging, missing goods, or damaged goods, please refuse delivery and contact us ([email protected]). We will assist you within three business days.
6.2 Force Majeure
We and our carrier are not responsible for shipping delays or damage to goods caused by the following force majeure factors:
Natural disasters within the EU (such as heavy rain, snow, earthquakes), and public health events (such as epidemics). Customs policy adjustments, inspection delays (such as random inspections of children's clothing material).
Social events such as strikes and traffic restrictions.
In the event of any of the above, we will notify you by email within 24 hours of becoming aware of the situation and provide the latest logistics updates.
7. Logistics Inquiry and After-Sales Service
Logistics Inquiry
Self-service Inquiry: You can log in to the "My Orders" section of growfortis.com with your order number (sent via email after placing the order), or visit our logistics partner's website (such as DHL.com or DPD.com) and enter your tracking number to check real-time shipping status.
Manual Inquiry: If the self-service inquiry is unsuccessful, please email [email protected], specifying your order number and inquiry request. We will provide feedback within two business days.
